old place, old memories... |
How sweet is that? Today we got a little postcard that reminds your captain of the good old days spent in England. I found this anonymous record a while ago and did not know what to expect from it. "ENGLISH SONGS" is a 7' record with no tittle and no recording informations, it just came with song tittles and lyrics in both english and french (maybe some parts are missing).
These are English folk songs but it could have been any style: pub style, church choir, very good or really boring... Well, It's pretty nice, various singers, vocal ensemble and some little backing instruments, maybe from a music academy? I don't know who or why this little record's been made, I just know it's very scratchy but I hope you you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
